This site is administered by Humans. Yes, Humans will review each submission to make sure that each link is placed in the correct area (usually within 48 hours). This is time consuming, and that is one of the reasons we charge a submission fee. The submission fee can be waived if you help us out by sharing some of your own expertise at NationalOutdoors.net (see below for details). The goal of this directory is not only to catalogue outdoor websites, but to provide a useful tool for those looking for outdoor activities in a particular state. The Google mapping feature in the National Outdoors Directory, in particular, is intended to help users find you based on your listing.

How to submit a site:

If you are interested in submitting your website to our directory; first choose the most relevant category for your site by browsing our directory, and then click "Add Site". Please follow the instructions on the submission form carefully to ensure that your site is submitted properly.

Prior Submission Check: Before submitting your site to the National Outdoors Directory, please search to make sure that your site has not already been submitted.

Guidelines:

• No Gambling, Adult or Illegal Sites
• No sites with broken links.
• No product pricing and special offers in your submission.
• No Parked sites, or sites that just contain advertising.
• Do not submit duplicate sites.
• Submit only web sites in English and that are based in the United States.
• Submit your web sites to the single most relevant category. We will not accept submissions at the State level, you must select a category within the state. If unsure, contact us or submit under "General Outdoors".
• Include your business's physical address, so users can locate you on our maps.

We reserve the right to make changes in the title, description or keywords of your site and to change its location - move it to another category or subcategory. We may even edit your submission slightly just to make this directory unique. Your site can be blocked or removed from our directory without a prior notification if it violates our rules or in the discretion of the editors of the National Outdoors Directory.

  • Your web site will be reviewed within 48 hours.
  • Your site will be displayed at the top of its category for 1 year. If you don't renew after a year then your listing will be converted into a standard listing.

• Standard Listing ($7.00)
  • Your web site will be reviewed within 48 hours.
  • Requested link to NationalOutdoors.net.
  • One time review fee.

• Free Listing
  • Your web site will be reviewed within 48 hours.
  • Required link to NationalOutdoors.net.
  • One time review fee is waived if you:
    • Join NationalOutdoors.net and add 3 posts within 1 week of your submission. This exchange allows NationalOutdoors.net to provide more quality regional content and provides you with additional opportunities to promote your site, product or service.
